Inserting/replacing batteries
Remove the Battery Compartment Cover and insert two 3V CR 2032 batteries (included) according to
the indicated polarity. If the scale does not func tion, remove the batteries completely and reinsert them,
ensuring proper polarity.
When battery power becomes low, 'Lo' will appear in the LCD Display and the scale may shut off. Replace
both batteries with two new CR2032 button cell batteries, observing the correct polarity.
Changing the weight unit
The scale is set to weigh in pounds (lb) from the factory. Switch the scale on by briefly applying pressure to
the top surface with your foot for 1-2 seconds. Wait until '0.0' appears in the display. Press the unit button
on the rear of the scale until the desired weight unit appears in the LCD Display ('lb' for pounds, 'kg' for
kilograms or 'st' for stones).
Positioning the scale
Place the scale on a hard, flat surface with no carpet or rugs; a hard surface is crucial to accurate measurements.
6. Entering User Data
To calculate your body fat percentage and other values, you must save your personal user data. The scale
can store ten separate users, which allows you and members of your family to save and access each of
your personal settings.
1. With the scale on a hard, flat surface, switch the scale on by briefly applying pressure to the surface with your
foot (approx. 1-2 sec onds). Wait until '0.0' and the selected measurement unit appears in the LCD Display.
2. Press the SET Button. The first memory space flashes in the display.
3. Press the ▲/▼ button to select the desired memory space and confirm by pressing the SET Button.
