POSITIONING OF THE UNIT
The ambient temperature must not exceed the range of -20-+60°C and ambient
humidity should not exceed 85%. Keep the unit away from any hot surfaces. Always
keep the unit out of reach of children and persons with reduced mental, sensory or
intellectual functions. Use only the recommended type of battery to power the unit.
To install the batteries in the unit, remove (slide downwards in accordance with the
marked arrow) the battery compartment cover from the back of the unit and insert
2 batteries in accordance with the marked polarity. Replace the battery
compartment cover. Replace the batteries in the same way.
IMPORTANT: If the message "Lo" appears on the display when the unit is turned on,
it means that the batteries must be replaced because they are too weak to operate
the unit properly.

Taking measurements
A. Measuring the tread depth
Press ON/OFF button (4) on the front of the unit and the unit
will start - by default the function set to start is measuring
the tire tread depth (default unit: mm).
If you want to measure tire pressure, press the ON/OFF
button (4) again after turning on and the unit will switch to
the pressure measurement function (default unit: kPa).
To change the unit of measurement press and hold the
ON/OFF button (4) while the unit is switched on and the unit
is displayed alternately - if the unit is the one you wish to
select then release the ON/OFF button and the
measurement value will be taken according to the currently
selected unit - the unit will remember this selection for
subsequent measurements.
To turn the unit off, leave it idle and after a few seconds of
inactivity it will automatically turn off. This is also a battery
saving function if the unit is left on when not in use.
