Make settings
These settings must be made by a skilled person during the commissioning process.
All functions or settings can be made with either the Geberit App or the Geberit Service Handy. It is not
possible to make manual settings via the IR sensor.
Make settings using the Geberit Service Handy
The following functions and settings are available with the Geberit Service Handy:
• Operation:
– Flushing: Activating a flush
– Cleaning: Suppressing the flush actuation for a few minutes
• Setting parameters and functions → See the 'Settings' table
• Displaying device information such as the battery capacity or firmware version → See the 'Information'
table
• Displaying statistical values for use → See the 'Information' table
The numbers and terms in the 'Menu item' column in the following table correspond to what can be seen on
the display of the Geberit Service Handy. Further information can be found in the user manual of the Geberit
Service Handy.

Description
Optimise the detection
distance
The IR sensors are recal-
ibrated. There must be no
objects in the detection range
for at least 10 s.
Actuate flush
Actuates a flush.
Check detection range
As soon as an object is
located in the detection range,
1 short signal tone sounds
every second. No flush is
actuated. The function
switches off automatically after
10 minutes.
Block flush
The flush actuation is blocked
for 10 hours. 2 short signal
tones sound every minute.
The function switches off
automatically after 10 hours.

• To optimise user recog-
nition
• To run a function test
on the solenoid valve
• To flush out the urinal
ceramic (e.g. when
setting the flush time)
• To test user recognition
• To carry out
maintenance work
