Risk of electric shock
DANGER
If the laid power cable is live, touching it will cause
an electric shock that can result in severe injury or
death.
▶ Switch off with the pre-fuse and secure so it
cannot inadvertently be switched back on.
▶ Only lay cables that are not live.
1. Guide the cables
through the rectangu-
lar cut-out in the
bottom of the base
frame and place the
pedestal on the pre-
pared foundation.
2. Secure the pedestal to
the threaded rods
with the supplied nuts
and washers.
Tightening torque:
40 Nm.
Note: For an alterna-
tive installation
method, see "Installa-
tion with clearance"
below.
Information
– For laying cables inside the pedestal, use the
supplied T-slot nuts and cable ties.
– Carefully seal the cable entry in the foundation
so water cannot penetrate.
Installation with clearance to
compensate for an uneven surface
1. Adjust the base frame of the pedestal using the
nuts underneath until the desired clearance is
achieved (see diagram for maximum heights), the
base frame is horizontal and the weight uniformly
distributed.
50 mm
2. Secure the pedestal base frame with the washers
and lock nuts on top. Tightening torque: 40 Nm.
3. To ensure stability, fill the gap between the base
frame and the foundation with grouting mortar
(compressive strength min. 120 N/mm²). Do not
fill the area under the side sections.
