2 GENERAL SAFETY RULES
• Do not use means to accelerate the defrosting process or to clean, other
than those recommended by the manufacturer.
• The appliance must be stored in a space that is free from continuously
operating ignition sources (for example: open flames, operating gas ap-
pliances or operating electric heaters).
• Do not puncture or burn the appliance.
• Please note that refrigerants can be odourless.

Failure to observe these precautions could result in minor or mod-
erate injury.
WARNING! Risk of damage.
• If the rooftop air conditioner is installed, never enter an automatic car
wash machine with the campervan.
• Do not tilt or overturn the air conditioner during transport or during as-
sembly operations as to do so could damage the internal components of
the product.
• Do not turn on the air conditioning if the top cover on the outdoor unit is
not in place.
• Operation without the cover does not guarantee the correct ventilation
to the heat exchangers and could cause damage to the system compo-
nents.
• Use the air conditioner with the unit placed on a horizontal surface. To
ensure the correct evacuation of the internal condensation do not ex-
ceed a tilt angle of 7%. A higher tilt angle may cause water to enter the
indoor unit.
WARNING ! Environmental hazard
• The product contains climate-altering fluorinated refrigerant gases cov-
ered by the Kyoto protocol.
• Do not release gases into the atmosphere.
• Maintenance operations should be carried out exclusively by qualified
and specialised F-Gas personnel who can handle refrigerant gases.
