7 INFORMATION
To minimise the environmental impact, the manufacturer provides the fol-
lowing series of points that all those who (for whatever reason) use the
device must consider.
•
The packaging material must be disposed of in accordance with the re-
gulations in force in the country where the packaging is being disposed
of (preferably recycled).
•
All product components must be disposed of in compliance with the
regulations in force in the country where the components are being
disposed of (preferably recycled).
•
Disposing of the product correctly means taking the appliance to an au-
thorised recycling centre. This ensures that all recyclable components
can be reused and that remaining materials are disposed of properly.
•
To avoid the stagnation of stale air, which is harmful to the user's heal-
th, ensure that the environment is sufficiently ventilated during installa-
tion.
•
During operation and maintenance, ensure that all hazardous waste
products (oil, grease, etc.) are disposed of properly.
•
To reduce noise pollution, keep the sound intensity level low.
Place the packaging material in the appropriate recycling bins where pos-
sible.
Be careful not to damage the cooling circuit and do not release the refri-
gerant during operation, repair or maintenance operations. The coolant
works like greenhouse gas and, therefore, must not be released into the
environment.
When you permanently decommission the product, ask your nearest
recycling centre or your specialist dealer about the disposal regulations.
Dispose of the product at an authorised disposal company according to
the regulations in force for recycling or disposal.
