a) Installing the car seat in the rear-facing position is mandatory up
to 15 months.
b) Only install on seats equipped with an Isofix and Top Tether Sys-
tem.
c) During installation with the Isofix system, the vehicle safety harness
must not be fastened behind the child car seat, as this would en-
gage the inflatable portion of the safety harness.
d) Use of the reducer cushion (included) is mandatory up to 60 cm.
Starting from 61 cm the reducer cushion is no longer necessary.
e) Never use this car seat on vehicle seats that face the sides or rear
of the vehicle (Fig. 33).
2. 76-105 cm >15 months (max. 18 kg) i-SIZE Universal ISOFIX
forward-facing: installation with ISOFIX connectors and Top
Tether and built-in seat belt system (see illustrations from
number 18 to 22).

ing.
b) Only install on seats equipped with Isofix and Top Tether connec-

c) The child must not weigh more than 18 kg.

engage the inflatable portion of the safety harness.
e) Never use this car seat on vehicle seats that face the sides or rear
of the vehicle (Fig. 33).

4. 100-150 cm i-SIZE Booster Seat: installation with ISOFIX

a) The vehicle seat must be equipped with a 3-point safety harness,
whether static or with a retractor, approved according to UN/ECE
Regulation no. 16 or other equivalent standards (Fig. 31).
b) The installation can take place on seats equipped with an Isofix
System or using only the vehicle's 3-point seat belts.
c) Never fit the car seat to a vehicle seat that is only equipped with a
2-point safety belt (Fig. 32).
d) Make sure that the abdominal portion of the vehicle seat belt rests
correctly on the waist of the child.
e) If used in a vehicle equipped with rear vehicle seat belts with in-
tegrated air bags (inflatable seat belts), the interplay between the
inflatable portion of the seat belt and this child restraint system
could cause serious injury or death. When using the car seat in
vehicles equipped with rear vehicle seat belt with integrated air
bags (inflatable seat belts), follow the car manufacturer's instruc-
tion manual.
f ) The car seat can be fitted on the front passenger seat or on any one
of the rear seats even if they are not equipped with an Isofix system.
Never use this child car seat on vehicle seats facing the sides or
