ADJUSTING THE ROLL NECK STRETCH
The stretch of the roll neck can be adjusted to adapt the stretch of the roll neck to the
morphology of the users and the various riding positions.
5.1 To increase the roll neck stretch, press the button of the left strap clip and simul-
taneously pull the elastic strap towards the rear part of the helmet (Fig.25). Then
repeat the operations on the other side of the helmet.
5.2 To decrease the roll neck stretch, press the left strap clip button and simultane-
ously push the rear part of the roll neck to loosen the stretch of the elastic strap
(Fig.26). Then repeat the operations on the other side of the helmet.
5.3 Wear and fasten the helmet (see instructions above) and make sure that the roll
neck stretch in the riding position is satisfactory.
WARNING
After assembling or disassembling the roll neck and/or adjusting the stretch, wear
and fasten the helmet to check the correct adjustment of the chin strap (see at-
tached label), the correct positioning of the helmet on the head in the riding posi-
tion and the VPS functionality in all positioning notches.
SIDE PLATES
When the helmet is configured in a version without the visor, side plates - provided in
the box - must be fixed to replace them.
1
ASSEMBLING THE SIDE PLATES
1.1 Position the left side plate , internally marked with letter "L", on the corresponding
side mechanism by inserting the top hook "B" of the plate into the corresponding
seat in the mechanism and aligning the lower hook "A" of the plate above the
corresponding seat present in the mechanism (Fig.27).
1.2 Press the plate at the lower hook "A" so that the release lever recedes and then
returns to position hooking, with a click, the plate to the side mechanism (Fig.28).
1.3 Repeat the same operations on the other side of the helmet using the right plate

DISASSEMBLING THE SIDE PLATES
To disassemble the side plates first remove peak, if assembled (see instructions above).
2.1 Pull the front part of the plate towards the external of the helmet to release the low-
er hook "A" and the top hook "B" from the corresponding seats in the mechanism
(Fig.29).
2.2 Follow the previous operations on the right side of the helmet.
WIND PROTECTOR
(Available as standard or accessory/spare part)
This accessory allows improved helmet performance under certain conditions of use.
The Wind Protector reduces unpleasant infiltrations of air under the chin.
See Fig.30 for assembly and disassembly operations.
VENTILATION SYSTEM
The ventilation system of the helmet consists of:
Lower ventilation system
It allows ventilation in the mouth area and conveys the air directly on the visor reducing
fogging.
See Fig.31 for opening and closing operations.
Top Ventilation System
The innovative AIRBOOSTER TECHNOLOGY system channels the air flowing in from
the front air intake, directing it to the top area of the user's head without any dispersion.
See Fig.32 for opening and closing operations.
Rear ventilation system
It allows warm and stale air to flow out ensuring an optimum comfort inside the helmet
(Fig.33).
SETTING UP THE N-COM - NOLAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
(Available depending on the product version)
Your helmet is factory-preset to be equipped with the N-Com communication system.
If your helmet is homologated according to ECE/UN Regulation No.22, it has also been
tested and homologated with the N-Com system installed. Installing a system other
than the N-Com affects the helmet's regulatory compliance.
When installing the communication system (see the specific instructions contained in
the N-Com kit), you need to remove the lower back rest and the foam material fillers,
present in the polystyrene cheek pads at the N-Com earphones seats, from the helmet.
The lower back rest and the above mentioned fillers should be removed only when
using the helmet with a compatible N-Com system installed.
