"CREATE" YOUR WATER GARDEN
Water accents, stone, plants, flowers and other landscaping materials
can now be added to create the beauty and inspiration that you have
envisioned for your water garden.
ADD WATER ACCENTS
Your Sunterra kit includes a pineapple water accent along with a riser and
diverter valve.To use your water accent you will first need to connect
the diverter valve and riser to the pump (fig. 04).The water accent is
then screwed on to the top of the riser. Submerge the pump under
water (your water accent will not be submerged) in your water garden
and plug it into a GFCI outlet.You should see water spraying out of your
water accent. If there is not a spray pattern or if the pattern is not spraying
evenly, you may need to adjust the diverter valve or the water accent until
you get the desired results (fig. 05).
Once you decide where to place your floating lily pads, anchor them by
attaching the nylon line and weight through the loop under the lily pad
(fig. 06). Adjust cord tension and length for the depth of your pond.
Once you have put your live plants into the plant baskets, they may be
positioned on a ledge in your pond, submersing the baskets so that only
the plants are showing above the water (fig. 07).
