INSTALLATION

The Brest model is designed for installation at the bottom of a cabinet. The hood is available in two different widths. The range hood can either vent
exhaust out into the open air or re-circulate the air.
Follow the steps in these instructions that match the model and type of hood you have chosen.
INSTALLATION OF THE NON-RETURN VALVE
Before installing the hood, the non-return valve must be installed onto the hood:

Place the spring on one flap of the non-return
valve.
INSTALLATION OF THE HOOD
The hood is installed in the cabinet using the following steps:

Open the door by pulling down the front. The
door is held by a clip on each side of the door.

Remove the two screws that hold the brackets
at the sides of the hood in place.

Place the non-return valve on the flange of
the motor.

Remove the filter from the hood.

Remove the brackets by pushing them to-
wards the front of the hood, and lift them out
of the hood.

NOTE: Ensure that the spring is held between
the two plastic tabs on the flaps.

Tilt out the plate where the spots are fitted by
pressing on the inside of the front edge.

Loosen the four spring brackets so that the
hood can be installed in the cabinet.
