GENERAL
Please read the contents of these instructions

save these instructions for future reference). The
appliance is designed to use an extraction function (air
exhaust to the outside - Fig.1B), with a filter
(recirculation of indoor air - Fig.1A) or external motor
(Fig.1C).
SAFETY SUGGESTIONS
1. Please note that if a hood and fireplace or chimney,
which use the air from the environment, are operating
simultaneously and not powered by electricity, the
hood will take the air that the fireplace or chimney
need for combustion from the environment.

C. Never cook food on open fire directly under
the hood.
D. Avoid using any kind of open flame as it may
damage the filters and present a fire hazard.
E. Always pay particular attention when frying
in order to avoid overheated oil igniting.
F. Always disconnect the power to the hood
before performing any maintenance.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Electrical installation:
The hood has been manufactured as a type 2

device and should therefore not be connected
to cable earth connections. There should be
easy access to the power socket, when the
hood is installed. A multi-cell switch between
the hood and the electricity network is
required to connect the hood if the cable has
no plug. There should be a gap of 3 mm
between the switches and the connection
must have the appropriate dimensions in
accordance with applicable standards.
