in the "PRGM" socket of the front pannel of
DVB S2-QAM, the first information displayed
is the firmware version:

------------
Version X.XX
Then the DVB-S2 unit firmware version is
displayed:

version:
V:X.XX
a.- Input menu
The first main menu enables the selection of
input frequency, modulation standard (DVB-
S or DVB-S2), the signal input symbol rate
and the LNB (0, 13v22KHz, 13v, 17v22KHz
or 17v) powering.
INPUT
F:1234 DVBS2
27.500
LNB:13V22KHz
To modify a parameter you must press
until the desired parameter flashes on and
off. Then you can change the value using
and
.
The value range allowed for input frequency
is 950-2150 MHz, while that for symbol rate
is 10 to 30 Mbaud for DVB-S2 signals and 2
to 42.5 Mbaud for DVB-S signals.
Should a shortcircuit is detected in the input
connector (preamplifier powering enabled),
the front led of the module will blink until this
state disappears.
b.- QAM modulation menu
The following menu indicates the parame-
ters of the selected QAM modulation:

DVB S2-QAM TS-PROC
QAM
Mod:
64QAM
IQ:
normal
Baud:5.363Mb
Possible values for QAM modulation format
are: 16QAM, 32QAM, 64QAM,128QAM and
256QAM.
The IQ parameter is the selection of the
modulation format and can be selected
"normal" or "inverted". The user must select
the QAM output baud rate.
The maximum value for the QAM output
baud rate is 6.9 Mbaud. The minimum value
will depend on the input signal. The mini-
mum value will depend on the input sinal
and QAM modulation selected.
For example, for a signal of QPSK 27.5
Mbaud, FEC=3/4:
