2.2 Proper use of outdoor versions WT 300
Outdoor use of the WT 300 (outdoor version) is permitted as long as the installation conditions
described in 4.3 Installation conditions for WT 300 outdoor versions, page 44 are observed.
Additional sealing components are required for this, which must be ordered separately,
see WT 300 Installation instructions.
2.3 Improper use
Any use that is not mentioned in chapter 2.1 Proper use is considered improper. The following
list outlines examples of improper use:
• Outdoor use (except for outdoor versions
page 37)
• Use in aggressive (containing salt or chlorine, for example) or damp environments
• Use in potentially explosive environments
• Use in the vicinity of electromagnetically sensitive devices
• Use in the vicinity of hot surfaces, heat sources, easily flammable materials or areas with
direct sunlight
• Omitting components during installation
• Changes to the installation order
• Use without emergency opening facility
• Use of defective or damaged components
• Use of non-original components
• Modification or repairs on Dialock system components
• Use by persons who have not received instructions
