10. Turn the speed control dial to set the drive speed.

1. Make sure that the work area is safe. Refer to
area safety on page 9 .
2. Fill the abrasive separator with abrasive. Fill the
separator with abrasive when necessary. Refer to
fill the product with abrasive on page 16 .
3. Start the product. Refer to
page 18 .
4. Engage the drive system. Refer to
disengage the drive system on page 12 .
5. Operate the drive system lever.
6. Pull the abrasive control lever to open the abrasive

7. After 2 m/7 ft., close the abrasive valve and stop the
product.
8. Do a check of the blast pattern. Adjust the blast
pattern if necessary. Refer to
pattern on page 20 .
9. Select the correct speed. Refer to
correct speed on page 17 .
10. Move the product (A) in parallel tracks. The dust
extractor (B) must be connected to the product (A)
by the dust extractor hose (C).

Blast pattern
The blast pattern (A) is the surface that has received
treatment.

For a good result the hotspots must be in the center of
the blast pattern. If the hotspot is too far to the left or
to the right, turn the control cage. Refer to
blast pattern on page 20 .
These are the conditions that have effect on the blast
pattern:
The direction of rotation of the blastwheel is correct.
Increased wear on the blastwheel, impeller and
control cage.
The dimension of the abrasive. The blast pattern
must be adjusted when you change dimension.
