- SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
2.1 Precautions
WARNING!
CAMPAGNOLA S.r.l. declines all responsibilities if the precautions below are not taken.
2.1.1 Results of the tests made by law
WARNING!
Risks due to the operator's contact with the noise and vibrations of the machine or tool.
1) NOISE LEVEL
Continuous A-weighted sound pressure level measured at operator's ear in compliance with standard UNI EN ISO 3744:
Sound power level measured in compliance with standard UNI EN ISO 3744
As the LpA level at the operator's ear is > 90 dBA the following requirements must be fulfilled:
• To inform personnel and provide specific training.
• To provide the machine operator with safe and adequate hearing protection and assure it is actually used.
2) VIBRATIONS LEVEL
The medium quadratic value of the acceleration, which the operator's hand-arm system has to bear according to the
frequency, has been measured complying with the EN ISO 5349 regulations:
• Test under load on front handgrip (extension L = 2 m):
• Test under load on front handgrip (extension L = 3 m):
• Test under load on rear handgrip (extension L = 2 m):
• Test under load on rear handgrip (extension L = 3 m):
Acceleration under load the upper elements are subject to exceeds 2.5 m/sec
must be fulfilled:
• The operator shall be informed about the vibrations risks.
• The operator shall undergo a periodic check up.
• The employer shall take all necessary measures to reduce the risk of human exposure (perform routine mainte-
nance, use protective gloves, carefully follow this operating and maintenance manual, avoid prolonged use of the
equipment to the greatest extent possible).
