saws
Fixation of the sliding table during transport
All screws, handles, levers for fixing the
sliding table must be tightened. Personal
protective equipments is required
Do not reach with your hands into the
danger area in front of the crosscut guide
Do not overload the sliding table (danger of
tipping). Machining of large workpieces only
when using a support (e.g. roller stand).
Do not use the sliding table as storage
Crosscut guide must be fixed
Not suitable for machining firewood and
round timber
When using models TS 216 / TS 216 Floor,
always use the left table width extension in
inserted and fixed position

5. Assembly
Figures 1-9 show the assembly on the left side of
the table saw:
5.1
Before starting any assembly,
disconnect the unit from the mains
Model TS 216 and TS 216 Floor: Do not
use the sliding table with extended left
table width extension! Table width extension
must be locked!
5.2
Remove rubber buffer
See fig.2
The bores (3) behind the rubber buffers (1) are
used to fix the mounting bracket (6). Remove
rubber buffer (1).
5.3
Remove mounting bracket
Fig. 3: Remove setting aids (5) from storage (7)
and position at the table saw to attach the
mounting bracket at the correct height.
Depending on the model, fasten the mounting
bracket (6) with 2 Phillips screws (2) using the
setting aids (5), at the bores provided as shown in
fig. 3 on the device (3) and bracket (4) . Attach
the star knob nuts (9) to the provided bores on the
mounting bracket (6) .
5.4
Attach the guide profile
Fig. 4: Insert the guide profile (10) with the groove
(11) at the bottom over the insertion screw (8)
and then over the star knob nuts (9) on the
bracket (6) with the end stop (12) in direction of
the output side of the table saw and fix screws (9)
slightly. We recommend to place the guide profile
in the centre. The star knob nuts (9) are tightened
only after the fine adjustment of the sliding table
at the bottom of the mounting bracket.
5.5
Push on sliding table
Fig. 4 + 5: open the movable end stop (14) on the
guide profile, move the sliding table with the
locking screw (15) on the working side onto the
guide profile over the four side rollers and close
again the movable end stop (14) . Using the
locking screw (15) the sliding table can be fixed
on the guide profile (10) in the desired position.
5.6
Adjust parallelism, plane and
orthogonality
Fig. 6: Using a square timber or similar, check
and adjust the planarity between table top of the
machine and the table top of the sliding table.
Place the setting aids (5) between sliding table
(13) and table saw. Now press the sliding table
(13) against the setting aids (5) and tighten the
star knob nuts (9). The fine adjustment to achieve
planarity is carried out by loosening the two Allen
screws (16) using a hexagonal wrench size 5,
which will be tightened again after the sliding
table has been optimally adjusted. Verify
perpendicular surfaces of the saw blade using the
crosscut guide. Should the surfaces not be
perpendicular, undo the star knob nut (9) at the
underside of the guide profile (10), adjust until
perpendicularity has been set and then tighten
again the star knob nut (9).
5.7
Support against torsion
Model TS 216 / TS 216 Floor: Move
clamping lever (20) upwards!
Fig. 7: Insert screws (22) into the groove (21) at
the underside of the mounting bracket (6). Place
the plastic bracket (23) through the hole onto the
screws (22) and latch pin at the recesses
provided (see fig. 7) of the respective table saw
model. Place the support profiles (24) onto the
screws (22) and position the support profile on
the table saw, push on washer (25) and fix with
knurled nut (26) .
5.8
Using the crosscut guide
Fig. 9: The crosscut guide (28) is inserted from
the front into the groove (27) of the sliding table
(13) .
For mitre cuts the mitre fence turns to 60° in both
directions.
For 0°, 22.5° and 45° mitres positive stops are
provided.
To set a mitre angle: loosen locking handle (29)
by turning it counter-clockwise.
Risk of injury!
When cutting with the mitre fence the
lock handle must be firmly tightened.
The auxiliary fence extrusion can be taken off and
reversed after loosening knurled nut (30).
This crosscut guide must only be used for
the sliding table, not for the table saw!.
6. Maintenance
6.1
Setting stability / smooth running of the
sliding table
Fig. 6: First undo both screws on both sides of the
sliding table with an Allen key (size 5) (17) and
bring the ball bearing (18) to the guide profile
(10) . To achieve smooth running of the sliding
table, adjust the contact pressure of the side
rollers using the Allen screws (19) and an Allen
key size 6.
6.2
Fine adjustment of the crosscut guide
If necessary, the play of the mitre fence (28) can
be set: Loosen the screws (32) on the plastic
slider on the mitre fence guide rails, move the
plastic slider, tighten the screws again.
