Avoid using gasoline that has been stored for more
than seven days as it causes malfunctioning and
decreases the useful life of the engine.
Fill the tank carefully not to spill the fuel.
Use common gasoline only (do not use gasoline
with additives).
Note the capacity of the fuel tank, and the quantity
and type of oil of the crankcase (see "Technical
Specifications").
Ensure that there is oil in the crakcase and that it is at
the correct level.
Check whether there is fuel in the tank.
Use common gasoline only (do not use gasoline
with additives).
Open the fuel valve for the TRAPP / Lifan motor.
Position the throttle lever halfway for the Briggs &
Stratton motor and in the choke position for the
TRAPP / Lifan motor.
Carefully pull the retractable start rope until you find
some resistance, then pull it all the way through.
Repeat this operation until the motor starts. Repeat
this operation until the motor starts. This motor does
not need to eject gasoline.
Allow engine to warm up for a few minutes, then
return the throttle position to choke position.
Set the throttle lever to full throttle position and start
work.
To turn the Briggs & Stratton motor off, return the on/
off lever (1) to the initial position. If when the throttle
lever is returned to the end, the engine does not turn
off, as shown in Figure 3, adjust the wire rope
advance (2) on the prop bolt (3) on the throttle lever.
If this does not solve the problem, loosen the spark
plug cable using the engine turn-off pliers and
contact a TRAPP Technical Assistant.

Do not add gasoline while the motor is
hot.
Figure 3
To turn the TRAPP / Lifan motor off in an emergency
situation, turn off the power cut button (10) as shown
on page 23.
To turn-off normally, close the fuel valve (12) and
wait for the gasoline to be fully consumed, then turn
off the power switch (10) as shown on page 23.
