CONNECTION
- Install all equipment taking into account:
- The maximum cable lengths. For more information, please refer to the WIRING section.
- Radiation and signal pick up factors. For more information, please refer to the OTHER SETTINGS
section.
- Connect the radiators. Connect SIGNAL OUT 1 or 2 from SCT-600 to SIGNAL IN from the first radiator
in the line. If you are going to install more radiators, connect them in cascade by connecting the SIGNAL
OUT output of one radiator to the SIGNAL IN input of the next radiator.
- Connect the main audio source. Connect the computer with the main audio to the IN CH 0 input on the
rear panel of the SCT-600.
- Connect the audio sources. In this system it is possible to input the audio into each channel via external
devices or via the translation units:
- Using external devices. Connect the device with the main audio to the IN CH 1 - CH 5 input on the
rear panel of the SCT-600.
- Using translation units. Connect INTERPRETER'S UNIT A and/or B of the SCT-600 to INPUT of the
first translation unit SCT-61M and/or SCT-122M. Or connect the SCT-61M or SCT-122M translation
units to each other, connecting the OUTPUT outputs to the INPUT of the next one, up to a maximum
of 5 elements per line.
IMPORTANT: FONESTAR recommends using only one type of translation units in your installation to
ensure optimal operation of the BUSY function.
- If you want to send the audio independently to other systems, connect them to the corresponding
OUT CH 0 - CH 5 outputs on the rear panel of the SCT-600.
- Connect the power cable of the radiators IR-600T and the translation transmitter SCT-600. And SCT-6R
receivers have charged batteries.
- Turn on SCT-600, IR-600T and SCT-6R (SCT-122M and SCT-61M are powered by the cable that
connects them to the SCT-600).
- Configure the output and input channels in each interpretation unit. For more information, please refer to
the INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE section.
- Remember to turn off all devices when not in use and perform maintenance and cleaning accordingly.
