Warning on pow er connect ions
Use the supplied pow er cord. If you use a
different pow er cord, be sure that it is
compatible w ith your local pow er supply.
If you do not use the appropriate cord, this
display w ill not conform to mandatory FCC
standards.

Do not install or leave the display:
In places subject t o ext reme t emperat ures, f or
example near a radiat or, heat ing vent , or in
direct sunlight . Subject ing t he display t o high
t emperat ures, such as in an aut omobile
parked in direct sunlight , could cause
def ormat ions of t he casing or malf unct ions.
In places w here t he display may t ip and f all,
such as locat ions subject t o any vibrat ion or
shock or an unst able surf ace.
Near any equipment t hat generat es a st rong
for 200 to 240 V AC
magnet ic f ield, such as a TV or various ot her
household appliances.
In places subject t o inordinat e amount s of
dust , dirt , or sand, f or example near an open
w indow or an out door exit . If set t ing up
t emporarily in an out door environment , be
sure t o t ake adequat e precaut ions against
airborne dust and dirt . Ot herw ise irreparable
malf unct ions could occur.
In places w here t he display may come in
cont act w it h ext reme moist ure or liquid, such
as in bat hroom or area near pool. Avoid
placing glasses or cups on t op of t he display
t hat may cause liquid t o spill inside.
Handling t he LCD screen

Do not leave t he LCD screen f acing t he sun as
it can damage t he LCD screen. Take care w hen
you place t he display by a w indow.
Do not push on or scrat ch t he LCD screen. Do
not place a heavy object on t he LCD screen.
This may cause t he screen t o lose unif ormit y or
cause LCD panel malf unct ions.
If t he display is used in a cold place, a residual
image may appear on t he screen. This is not a
malf unct ion. The screen ret urns t o normal as
t he t emperat ure rises t o a normal operat ing
level.
If a st ill pict ure is displayed f or a long t ime, a
residual image may appear f or a w hile. The
residual image w ill event ually disappear.
The LCD panel becomes w arm during
operat ion. This is not a malf unct ion.
