To access the purgecock, we must remove the cap of the liner covering it and the safety thermostat. In the
VAP24 and 30 models it is located in the upper left front edge of the boiler behind a cover, in the VAP 5-20 it is in the
upper right front part. It is important to note that the purge should be performed by an authorized installer.
Purger.
WI-FI ANTENNA CONNECTION, POWER CABLE, ROOM THERMOSTAT, KEYBOARD AND KEYBOARD SUPPORT.
An Ecoforest box is shipped with the boiler. It contains the user manual, the installation and maintenance
manual, a power cable, a room sensor and a cleaning brush.
The room probe and power cable are connected at the rear of the boiler, towards the right side on the
VAP30, on the middle left on the VAP24 and on the right side on the VAP 5-20.
In the case of mounting a room thermostat other than the probe, it must be a voltage-free contact and
always an open / closed contact. In order to avoid continuous signals in biomass systems, the thermostat must work
with hysteresis, trying to avoid signal changes in the contact for less than 40 minutes.
Power connection 230/240V – 50Hz.
Thermostat connection.
Screw the WiFi antenna to the docking station. This magnet base must be stuck to the back of the boiler.
Once assembled, the unit has to remain in a vertical position.
Antenna.
Magnet connection base.
Place the magnet connection base with the antenna where appropriate. When possible, avoid the presence
of metal sheets around the antenna as the WiFi signal might be distorted.
HEATING SYSTEM DRAINING (VERY IMPORTANT).
