Resetting the counter / checking the filter capacity

If a filter cartridge of the same size was used when replacing the filter cartridge, only the counter needs to

be reset�
To reset the filter capacity after replacement, see Chap. 5.2.3.
If a different size is used, the filter capacity must be determined and entered again (see Chap. 4.5.1).
5.2 Programming and display unit
The display of the display unit is switched off 30 seconds after the last key is pressed.
Pressing any key switches the display on again and the filter status is shown.
5.2.1 Selecting a menu item
By pressing the menu key, the following menu items are displayed one after another�

Reset the filter capacity (when replacing the filter)

After the reset, a timer is started that indicates replacement of the filter after 360 days.
The display is switched off.
Press the "MENU" key:
- Display: Filter status�
Press the "MENU" key:
- Display: Flow�
Press the "MENU" key:
- Display: Total counter�
Press the "MENU" key:
- Display: Set filter capacity.
Press the "MENU" key:
- Display: Counter reading, 0 = Current cartridge was inserted at a counter
reading of 287 l�
Press the "MENU" key:
- Display: Alarm�
Press the "MENU" key:
- Display: Settings�
The display is switched off.
Press the "MENU" key:
- Display: Filter status�
OR
- Display: Filter status, filter capacity specified has been reached or the
maximum period of use of 12 months exceeded. Replace filter!
The display is switched off.
Press the "MENU" key:
- Display: Filter status�
Press and hold the "RESET" key for approx� 5 seconds�
- The display shows "reset 5s", the countdown runs down�
The filter capacity is now reset and the last value entered is shown.
