Assembling the filter head / flowmeter / filter cartridge

The flowmeter for the POWER steamer water softener consists of the following components:
• Sensor unit
• Programming and display unit
Assembly of the product comprises the following steps:
• Assembly of the filter head.
• Assembly of the sensor unit�
• Connection to the water supply and to the POWER steamer 2�
• Assembly of the filter cartridge.
• Assembly and connection of the programming and display unit (Chap. 4.5).
⇒ Disconnect the POWER steamer 2 from the power source�
⇒ Turn off the water supply to the POWER steamer 2 and disconnect the water hose to the POWER
steamer 2 from the water supply�
⇒ Securely attach the filter head to a wall in a vertical position using appropriate screws (not included in
the scope of delivery).
The filter system can also be operated either free-standing or on its side without being secured.
Vertical wall mounting is recommended.
When assembling the sensor unit, the adapter and the water hoses, make sure that you use the
corresponding gaskets.
⇒ Screw one adapter (3/4" - 3/8") onto the connection of the sensor unit
(10, Fig. 1).
⇒ Screw one adapter (3/4" - 3/8") onto the inlet of the filter head (3).
⇒ Screw the sensor unit to the outlet of the filter head (4) using the union nut.
⇒ Connect the water hose for the POWER steamer 2 to the adapter of the sen-
sor unit�
The sensor unit must not be exposed to any mechanical loads.
⇒ Connect the water hose provided to the adapter at the inlet of the filter head
and to the water supply�
⇒ Note the flow direction – markings on the filter head and sensor unit!
⇒ Max� torque 10 Nm�
