Connect the yellow-green cable to the PE terminal first, leaving it longer so that the latter is the one to
be detached in case of accidental pulling.
3. MAINTENANCE
WARNING:
The pump must be disconnected from the mains before any handling of the pump.
The electric pump does not require routine maintenance. However, it is recommended to check its
regular operation by carrying out periodic checks, the frequency of which will depend on the quantity
of liquid pumped and the operating conditions, paying attention to noise and any abnormal vibrations.
These checks can give an approximate indication of the need for extraordinary preventive mainte-
nance interventions, avoiding the need to carry them out after the occurrence of inconveniences or
unforeseen events.
The most frequent main and additional maintenance is as follows:

Replacement of the mechanical seal.
•
Replacement of the seals.
•
Replacement of bearings.
•
Replacement of capacitors.
However, these components, which are typically subject to wear and tear, can last much longer if the
electric pump is used correctly.
When the pump is not going to be used for a long time, it is advisable to empty it by removing the drain
and priming plugs, wash it carefully with clean water, and drain the water to avoid leaving deposits
inside the pump.
This operation must be carried out whenever there is a risk of freezing, to avoid damage to the compo-
nents of the pump itself.

Non-original spare parts may damage the product and be dangerous for people and property.
When disassembling the product, please observe the regulations in force in your country and make
sure that no residues of the liquid inside the product are left behind.
