Operating Instructions
■ Adjust the required material pressure (cup pressure) (see chapter 9.3).
■ Briefly open the pressure relief screw [1-1] on the relief valve and close
it again, watching the pressure gauge to see whether the required pres-
sure adjusts itself again, otherwise readjust.
■ Start spraying process.
9.3. Adjust material pressure
The amount of material pressure depends on the material viscosity and
on the required material flow.
■ Turn the pressure control [1-8] clockwise to increase the material
pressure to max. 1.2 bar.
■ Turn the pressure control [1-8] counterclockwise to reduce the mate-
rial pressure.
■ Pull the pressure control out to unlock it.
■ Adjust the required material pressure.
■ Press the pressure control back in to lock it again.

10. Maintenance and repairs

Warning!
Risk of injuries from components coming loose
Components may come loose unexpectedly while still connected to the
compressed air circuit during maintenance and repair work.
→ Interrupt the compressed air supply every time before performing
maintenance and repair work.
Warning!
Risk of injury from manipulated safety valve
A manipulated safety valve fails to vent the pressurized cup spray gun
properly and the pressurized cup can explode.
→ Any changes to the safety valve are prohibited and not allowed.
Spare parts are available for carrying out repairs (see chapter 14).
10.1. Clean or replace the safety valve
The pressurized cup is fitted with a safety valve. This automatically bleeds
the pressurized cup when the pressure exceeds 3.5 bar.
