1. Remove the screw at the cutting-length
lever 4. Here, mind the 3 cup springs
positioned between screw and cutting-
length lever.
2. Remove the screw, the 3 cup springs and
the cutting-length lever 4 from the hair
clippers 6.
3. Remove the smaller screw on the other
side.
4. Attach the cutting-length lever 4 on the
other side. Make sure that the small peg is
inserted into the matching recess.
5. Place the 3 cup springs on the longer
screw and mind the correct direction of
the curvature:
– 1.: curved towards the screw head:
– 2.: recessed towards the screw head:
– 3.: curved towards the screw head:
6. Fasten the cutting-length lever 4 by tight-
ening the longer screw.
7. Tighten the smaller screw on the other
side.

5 Operation

5.1 Connection to the power supply

DANGER! Risk of injury from cutting
The appliance must be switched off (rotary switch 3 in position 0),
before plugging the power unit 9 into a power socket.
• Insert the power unit 9 into a power socket corresponding to the
specifications of the type plate. The power socket should be easily
accessible at any time.

5.2 Switching on/off and adjusting speed

Use the rotary switch 3 to switch the hair clippers 6 at two speeds on
and off again.
• Turn the rotary switch 3 to one of the following positions:

• By selecting the speed (position I or II) you adjust the hair clip-
pers 6 to your working method and to the hair structure of your
customer.
