Flooded Engine
If the engine fails to star t after repeated
attempts, it may be flooded with excess fuel.
To clear a flooded engine, push the choke
lever down to Fully OFF (C). Open the throttle
fully. While pushing the engine stop button,
crank the engine several times with the
kickstarter. Release the engine stop button
and follow the "High Air Temperature"
Starting Procedure (page 36).
RUNNING-IN
Help assure your motorcycle's future
reliability and performance by paying extra
attention to how you ride during the first
operating day or 25 km (15 miles).
During this period, avoid full-throttle starts
and rapid acceleration.
