The guard must be securely attached to the tool and positioned for maximum safety so that the smallest possible area
of the disc is exposed towards the operator. This guard helps to protect the operator from broken disc fragments and prevents
accidental contact with the disc.
The disc must be used as intended. For example, do not grind with a cutting disc. Abrasive discs for cutting are designed
for use under heavy pressure and the lateral forces applied to such a disc may cause it to break.
Always use undamaged fi xing fl anges, which are the correct size for the abrasive disc. The correct fi xing discs of the abra-
sive disc reduce the possibility of damage to the abrasive disc. The fi xing discs for cutting discs can be diff erent from the fi xing
discs for abrasive discs.
Do not use worn abrasive discs from larger tools. A larger diameter abrasive disc is not suited for a
higher rotational speed of smaller tools and may break.
Safety warnings related to cutting with abrasive discs
Do not "jam" the disc or apply too much pressure. Do not try to cut too deep. Excessive stress of the abrasive disc increases
load and susceptibility for twisting or catching the disc in the cut groove, which increases the risk of kickback towards the operator
or disc damage.
Do not place your body in the cutting line or behind the rotating abrasive disc. If during operation, the abrasive disc rotates
in the direction away from the operator's body, the kickback towards the operator can direct the rotating disc and tool towards
the operator.
If the disc is caught or the cut is interrupted for any reason, turn off the tool then keep it in the standstill until the disc
rotation stops completely. Never attempt to get the rotating cutting disc out of the groove as it may result in kickback
towards the operator. It is recommended to fi nd causes and take appropriate steps to prevent the disc from being caught.
Do not resume cutting in the material. Allow the disc to achieve its nominal speed and only then carefully insert it into
the cut groove. The disc may be clamped, pulled out, or kicked back towards the operator if the cut is resumed in the material.
Support panels and other oversized materials to minimise the risk of clamping and kickback towards the operator. Over-
sized materials tend to bend under their own weight. The supports must be placed under the material close to the cutting line and
close to the edge of the material on both sides of the cutting line.
Take special care when performing deep cuts in the walls or other unknown surfaces. A protruding disc may cut through
gas pipes, electric cables, or other objects that may cause a kickback towards the operator.
Safety warnings related to the work with the tool
The guard supplied together with the tool must be safely attached to it and adjusted to provide a maximum level of safe-
ty – so that as little part of the cutting disc as possible is exposed towards the operator. Leave and remove bystanders
from the rotating disc plane. The guards help protect the operator from fragments of a broken disc and accidental contact with
the disc.
Use only diamond cutting discs in the power tool. The fact that the accessory may be attached to the power tool does not
ensure safe operation.

TOOL OPERATION

Preparing for operation
Warning! Before starting any assembly, disassembly, or adjustment works related to the disc, make sure that the tool is turned
off , and the power cord plug is disconnected from the electric outlet.
Unpack the tool and remove all packaging components. It is recommended to maintain the packaging, as it may be useful for later
storage of the product.
First of all, attach the guard to the tool.
Open the front cover of the guard. To do this, rotate the safety knob so that it points towards the open padlock symbol (II). Then
open the side cover of the guard. To do this, move the locking screw in the direction shown by the arrow. You can move it manually
or with the wrench (III). If the resistance to moving the screw is too great, it should be unscrewed a bit with a wrench. The washer
underneath the screw head should go into a larger hole in the guard and allow it to open (IV).
Place the ring on the tool housing, then place the fl ange in the side cover of the guard and tighten it with the screw (V). The tool
should be attached in such an angle so that the outline of its housing does not go beyond the lower edge of the guard.
The discs assembly should be performed in the following order. Place the mounting fl ange without the openings with a bushing on
the tool's spindle. Then place the discs with at least one washer between them on the bushing. The discs must not come into con-
tact with each other. Insert the fl ange with openings and bushing inside the bushing. Insert the wrench into fl ange openings, press
and hold the locking button of the tools' spindle and use the wrench to tighten the fl ange with the openings fi rmly and securely
to the spindle (VI). Correctly assembled discs should not have any side play. If play is detected, repeat the assembly operation,
making sure that none of the washers have been skipped.
Close the side cover and secure it by tightening the locking screw, then close the front cover and secure it with the knob rotating
it in such a way that it points towards the closed padlock symbol (VII).
Caution! Use only diamond discs intended for dry cutting of the size specifi ed in the table. It is forbidden to use intermediate rings
