5. Disconnect the pneumatic lines; this will bring the automatic brake into operation.
6. Disconnect the electrical lines.
7. Slowly uncouple the tractor unit from the semitrailer 3 km/hr maximum).

3. Transport by Boat

Always use the anchor points provided.
3.1. Using a Ferry (semitrailer with tractor unit)
When taking a ferry, make sure your vehicle when in this configuration is fitted
with the necessary anchor points.

3.2. Using the RORO (semitrailer alone)

When using the RORO, make sure your vehicle when in this configuration has the
statutory marking.
4. Loading / Unloading Operations
1. Open and secure the doors by means of the systems provided (except with lift-
up curtains, which can be opened on the quay).
2. Use the lift and lowering system to adjust the height of the floor to the same
level as the loading quay You may need to do this again after approaching the
quay and during loading or unloading.
3. Very slowly (2 km/hr maximum) reverse the vehicle in line with the quay until
the vehicle is close up to the quay but not touching it.
Ensure nothing receives any knocks except for the buffers provided for this
purpose.
