• Pull the saw blade out of the locking clip (15) and
take it out of the bar (6).
• Repeat this procedure for the other saw blade.
Fitting the saw blades (fig. D)
• Slide one saw blade into the bar (6) making sure
its slotted hole (16) fits into the locking clip (15).
• Insert the back of the saw blade into the housing
(10) until the threaded hole (14) lodges in the
required mounting position.
• Repeat this procedure for the other saw blade.
• Using a piece of wood push on the toothed side
of the saw blades to make sure that they are
exactly parallel to the bar (6).
• Tighten both saw blade fixing screws (8) securely
by pressing and turning simultaneously with the
short end of the Allen key (9).
Before operation let the saw blades run
freely for approx. 20 s.

Instructions for use
• Always observe the safety instructions
and applicable regulations.
• Ensure the material to be sawn is
secured in place.
• Apply only a gentle pressure to the tool
and do not exert side pressure on the
saw blade.
• Avoid overloading.
Prior to operation (fig. A):
• Remove the saw blade guard (7).
• Mount the appropriate type of saw blade.
• Check that the tool is running properly and can
perform all its functions. Make sure that the bar
(6) is still straight and the saw blades (5) and the
housing (10) are undamaged.

Switching ON and OFF (fig. A)

For safety reasons the ON/OFF-switch (1) is
equipped with a lock-off button (2).
• Press the lock-off button (2) to unlock the tool.
• To run the tool, press the ON/OFF-switch (1).
As soon as the ON/OFF-switch is released the
lock-off switch is automatically activated to
prevent unintended starting.
• Always switch off the tool before unplugging.

For safety reasons the variable speed switch (1) is
equipped with a lock-off button (2).
• Press the lock-off button (2) to unlock the tool.
• To run the tool, press the variable speed switch
(1). The pressure exerted on the switch
determines the tool speed. As soon as the
variable speed switch is released the lock-off
switch is automatically activated to prevent
unintended starting.
• Always switch off the tool before unplugging.
Sawing (fig. A, E & F)
• Clamp the workpiece on one side only to prevent
the bar from jamming in the workpiece. Should
this happen, ease open the cut with wedges to
relieve the strain on the blade. Do not try to
wrench the saw free.
• Hold your D

and the side handle (4) to guide the saw properly.
• Do not use the saw for cutting curves or pockets.
Make sure the bar end protrudes from the
workpiece.
• For long, straight cuts first draw a line on the
workpiece and follow the line.
• Make downward cuts only. Avoid cutting earth as
this will blunt the saw blades very quickly.
• When using a saw horse always cut on the
outside of the saw horse arms.
• To increase performance and lifetime of the saw
blades regularly apply oil to the blades and in the
oil holes (11) (every 15-30 min.).
• Regularly check the saw blade fixing screws (8).
