The Camcorder : System Menu Setting
Setting the Clock
✤ Clock setup works in both REC and PLAY modes.
✤ The Date/Time is automatically recorded onto a tape.
Before recording, please set the Date/Time.
1. Set the Power switch to REC or PLAY.
2. Press the MENU button.

The menu list will appear
3. Move the Joystick up or down to select System,
then press the Joystick(OK).
4. Move the Joystick up or down to select Clock Set,
then press the Joystick(OK).

The year will highlight first.
5. Move the Joystick up or down to set current Year,
then press the Joystick(OK).
I
The month will be highlighted.
6. You can set the month, day, hour and minute
following the same procedure for setting the year.
7. Press the Joystick(OK) after setting the minutes.

The message Complete! will be displayed.
I
To adjust the clock, select the Year, Month,
Day, Hour or Min by pressing the Joystick(OK),
then move the Joystick up or down to set
respective values.
8. To exit, press the MENU button.

After the Lithium battery loses its charge (after about
6 months), the date/time appears on the screen as
12:00 AM JAN. 1, 2005.
I
You can set the year up to 2037.
I
If the Lithium battery is not installed, any input data will not be backed up.
I
A separate Clock setting function is provided for the Digital Camera
(see page 90).

Puede definir el año hasta 2037.

Si no está instalada la batería de litio, no se realizará ninguna copia de
seguridad de los datos de entrada.

Se proporciona una función de ajuste de reloj independiente para la
cámara digital (consulte la página 90).
1. Coloque el interruptor Power en REC o PLAY.
2. Pulse el botón MENU.

Aparece la lista del menú.
3. Mueva el Joystick hacia arriba o hacia abajo para
seleccionar System (Sistema) y pulse el Joystick(OK).
4. Mueva el Joystick hacia arriba o hacia abajo para
seleccionar Clock Set (Ajuste Reloj) y pulse el
Joystick(OK).

Primero parpadea el año.
5. Mueva el Joystick hacia arriba o hacia abajo para fijar
el año y pulse el Joystick(OK).

Se resaltará el mes.
6. Fije el mes, día, hora y minutos siguiendo el mismo
procedimiento que para el año.
7. Pulse el Joystick(OK) tras fijar los minutos.
I
Aparecerá el mensaje Complete! (¡Completo!).
I
Para ajustar el reloj, seleccione Year (Año), Month
(Mes), Day (Día), Hour (Hora) o Min (Min.)
pulsando el Joystick(OK) y mueva el
Joystick(OK) hacia arriba o hacia abajo para fijar
los valores respectivos.
8. Para salir, pulse el botón MENU.

Una vez que la batería de litio pierda carga
(unos 6 meses), aparece la fecha y hora en pantalla
con el formato 12:00 AM JAN. 1, 2005.
