Formatting a Memory Card
✤ You can use the Format function to completely
delete all still images/moving images and options
on the Memory Card, including protected still images/
moving images.
✤ The format function restores the Memory Card to its
initial state.
✤ The Memory Stick supplied with this Camcorder has
been formatted already.
1. Set the Power switch to
(CAMERA).
2. Press the MENU button.
3. Move the Joystick to the left or right to select
(SETUP).

The SETUP menu list will appear.
4. Move the Joystick up or down to select FORMAT,
then move the Joystick to the right.

The available options are listed. YES - NO.
5. Select the desired option by moving the Joystick
up or down button, then press the Joystick(OK).

If YES is selected, message FORMAT? appears.
6. If OK is selected, message PLEASE WAIT appears
and then FORMAT DONE appears when the format is
completed.

If you execute the Format function, all still
images/moving images will be erased completely and
erased still images/moving images cannot be recovered.
I
Formatting the Memory Card using a different device will
cause Memory Card read errors.
I
Formatting the Memory Card deletes all the stored data
in the Memory Card.

Do not turn the power off while formatting.

Si se selecciona YES (SÍ), aparece el mensaje
FORMAT? (FORMATO?).
6. Si se selecciona OK, aparece el mensaje PLEASE WAIT
(ESPERE) y aparece FORMAT DONE (FORMATO
FINALIZADO) una vez completado el formato.

Si ejecuta la función Format (Formato), se borrarán todas
las imágenes fijas y secuencias y no podrá recuperarlas.
I
Dar formato a la tarjeta de memoria utilizando un
dispositivo diferente puede causar errores de lectura
en la tarjeta de memoria.

El formato de la tarjeta de memoria borra todos los
datos almacenados en la tarjeta de memoria.
