• The largest generators S12000MG and S13000TD have an acrylic protection on the connection terminals.
This protection creates a barrier to prevent accidental contact with live parts.
ATENÇÃO
11. Operation in AC alternating current
• Start the engine;
• Put the overload protector in the ON position (I);
• Connect the equipment.
Much equipment with engines needs a higher power than the nominal power during starting.
Do not exceed the specified current limit for any equipment, if an overload occurs the overload protector will be
disarmed.
Reduce the electric load in the circuit, wait some minutes and then rearm the overload protector.
12. 12Vcc Socket and Applications
The 12V output must be used only to charge automotive 12V batteries. In the models 2500, 3500 and 5500, the
12Vcc terminals are colored; red to identify the positive pole (+) and black for the negative pole (-).
The battery must be connected to the 12Vcc terminals of the generator according to the poles – battery's positive
pole in the red terminal (+) of the generator and battery's negative pole in the black terminal (-) of the generator.
13. Overload Switch (or fuse)
The overload protection switch (or fuse) will automatically turn off the 12Vdc output circuit when there is over-
load or short circuit.
Note the indicator to check whether protection was activated. If it is activated, wait a few minutes until the
circuit cools down and then push the button again to reset the circuit protection.
For safety reasons, these protections must not be removed
