5. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1.
This equipment, if improperly used, can cause physical and material damage. To avoid this, follow the
instructions below:
• This equipment must not be used by people with physical, sensorial, or mental handicaps, or without know-
ledge of use and training.
• This equipment must not be used by children under any circumstances.
• Do not use your equipment when tired, under the influence of medication, alcohol or drugs. Lack of attention
during operation may result in serious personal injury;
• May cause mechanical or electrical interference on nearby sensitive equipment;
• Must be installed and operated in places that are ventilated and protected against humidity and presence
of water.

Choose the equipment model best suited for its intended use, don't exceed maximum capacity. If necessary,
acquire a more suitable model for your application. This will increase efficiency and safety in your work;

Always use suitable personal protective equipment (PPE), according to each application, such as dust
glasses, closed non-skid safety shoes and ear protection. This reduces the risks against personal
injury;

While in use, the equipment has electrical components and hot moving parts;

Keep children and pets away from the area of operation.

To reduce the risk of electrical shock:
• Install a residual current circuit breaker. Consult an electrician to select and install this safety device;
• Ground the generator. in no circumstance at all connect it to the electricity network, to another generator or
to another power supply;
• Understand the use of all controls of the generator, as well as its outputs and connections;
• Do not use the equipment barefoot in wet places or places with excessive humidity. Next to swimming pools
or tanks, next to automatic sprinklers. Do not touch the metallic parts of the generator with humid hands.
always keep the generator dry. The generator has enough energy power to cause a lethal shock if used under
improper conditions;
• Do not carry out seams in the electric cables. Request the change of the equipment feeding cable used with
the generator;
• The socket has to be compatible with the equipment plug. In order to reduce shock risks, do not alter the
plug's characteristics and do not use adapters.
• Do not use your electric equipment in explosive atmospheres (gas, liquid or dust).

Make sure the generator is in good conditions before using it. in case of anomalies,suspend the use and
contact SCHULZ AUTHORIZED DEALER for repair.
8.
Do not use the generator in closed places. make sure you have proper ventilation in order to avoid the
accumulation of toxic gases, as the exhausting system gases contain carbon monoxide which is poisonous,
odorless and colorless. Inhaling these gases can provoke loss of conscience and DEATH.
9.
In order to prevent accidents, put the generator on a firm and levelled surface. If the generator is tilted
or dropped there might be fuel leakage.
10.
Before the use, check the oil level (the generator must be on a flat surface);
11.
Never clean the equipment with solvent or any other flammable product. use neutral detergent.

In the presence of any abnormality, immediately suspend its operation and contact the nearest SCHULZ
