SOS hand-operated transmitter range

We recommend testing the range of the SOS hand-operated transmitter because this may
vary depending on the nature of the building. If you know the precise range, this will safe-
guard against malfunctions. It has a range of up to 30 meters inside buildings and up to 80
meters outdoors.

Enabling/disabling SOS mode

1. Press the P button and then the
2. Enter the four-digit device PIN "XXXX" (the telephone's default PIN code is "0000").
3. Now enter one of the following two codes:
a. Code "300" disables SOS mode.
b. Code "301" enables SOS mode.
5. Press the P button to save the changes.
6. Re-enter a code or press the P button to exit the Settings menu.
Note:
There must be at least one SOS phone number stored for an SOS call to be transmitted.

Interrupting SOS mode

Press the P button and then the
accidentally.

Emergency mode during power failure

If five AAA batteries are inserted into the telephone's battery compartment, the telephone
can also be contacted during a power failure.
Ensure that the plug-in PSU is connected to the mains. Otherwise, the batteries will become
discharged very quickly.
