Correcting Reduced Water Flow – Handshower
If your handshower begin to show reduced flow or performance, follow these steps. If performance does not
improve, contact your local service representative.
Clean the Handshower Spray Holes
With the water running, firmly rub the spray holes on the face of the handshower to dislodge any
mineral build-up or debris. If this does not improve performance, follow the "Clean the
Handshower Components" steps below.
Clean the Handshower Components
Turn off the water.
Insert the showerhead tool (provided) into the holes in the face of the handshower.
Turn the tool counterclockwise to loosen the pulsator housing.
Carefully remove the pulsator housing, rotor, rotor plate, and gasket.
Inspect the components for debris or mineral build-up. Clean or replace the parts as needed.
Install the rotor, flat deflector plate first, to the pin in the pulsator housing.
Install the rotor plate to the pulsator housing with the flat smooth side facing out.
Reinstall the gasket into the pulsator housing.
Carefully thread the pulsator housing into the handshower with the showerhead tool.
If this improves performance, discontinue servicing. If this does not improve performance, continue
to Clean the Screen Washer.
Clean the Screen Washer
