If motor overload protection trips frequently, contact a
BOSTITCH factory service center
or a BOSTITCH authorized service center.
Motor will start automatically when tank pressure drops
below cut-in pressure of Pressure Switch (H).
Check for proper gauge wire and cord length. Refer to the
Extension Cords paragraph in the Installation section.

1. Check fuse box for blown fuse and replace as necessary.
Reset circuit breaker. Do not use a fuse or circuit breaker
with higher rating than that specified for our particular
branch circuit.
2. Check for proper fuse. You should use a time delay fuse.
3. Check for low voltage conditions and/or proper extension cord.
4. Disconnect the other electrical appliances from circuit or
operate the compressor on its own branch circuit.

Clean or replace air intake filter. Do not operate the air
compressor with the filter removed. Refer to the
