Engine speed Overheat of the

body malfunction
(MIL on)
: Service to be performed by an authorized Kawasaki engine dealer or equally qualified service facility.
Probable Cause
Debris or dust is inside shroud
Temperature sensor or circuit
malfunction
Low oil level
Oil switch or circuit malfunction
Lubrication system malfunction
Wiring issue or sensor malfunction
Throttle valve control malfunction
Throttle position sensor malfunction
Remedy
Clean (refer to Cooling System
Cleaning section in the maintenance
chapter)
Add oil (refer to Oil Level Check
section in the Maintenance chapter)
