INTRODUCTION

Congratulations on your purchase of the eSpring
made a wise investment for you and your family and have taken an important
step in improving the quality of your drinking water.
Inside the box you will fi nd the basic Water Purifi er with parts shown, the
manual with registration card, the Existing or Auxiliary Faucet and the plumbing
accessories you will need to install the Water Purifi er.
Refer to the exploded view below of the Water Purifi er for assistance with
part names.

Before beginning installation, please review the owner's manual thoroughly to
ensure proper performance of your eSpring Water Purifi er.
NOTE: You will need an electrical outlet to plug in the power adapter. If you need
to install a new outlet, it must be installed by a licensed or certifi ed electrician
according to Federal, Provincial, State, Municipal and local laws. This outlet must
be powered continuously for the Water Purifi er to function properly. In case of a
power outage see p. 13.
To maximize Water Purifi er performance and maintain quality drinking water,
the cartridge should be replaced once a year or as soon as you have fi ltered
1,320 gallons (5000 L) of water - whichever comes fi rst. The Electronic Module
monitors the amount of water fi ltered and keeps track of how long the Cartridge
has been in service. When a year has passed or as soon as the Cartridge has
treated 1,320 gallons (5000 L) of water the Electronic Module alerts you to
replace the Cartridge.
The Water Purifi er is designed to have continuous power supplied to monitor
Cartridge performance properly.
ABOVE COUNTER INSTALL ATION
The eSpring Water Purifi er sits on the countertop with the Diverter and tubing
attached directly to your faucet. The tubing should be replaced every two years.
NOTE: Attach the Diverter to a faucet that will supply COLD WATER to the Water
Purifi er. DO NOT RUN HOT WATER THROUGH THE WATER PURIFIER.
Check to make sure you have all the correct components before you begin
installation (Fig 1A).
