Possible cause
Wrong type of fastener used.
The supporting material is too
hard.
The nail pusher was not moved
forward.
Inadequate number of nails in the
magazine.
Nail transport malfunction.
The battery is discharged.
Empty gas can

Incorrect piston position due to
lifting the tool away too soon after
driving the fastener.
Incorrect piston position due to
carbon build-up.
The tool doesn't fire due to a dirty
spark plug.
Foreign object in the area of the
fastener guide.

Ambient conditions are outside the
permissible range.
The gas can temperature is outside
the permissible range.
The tool was not lifted completely
away from the surface after driving

A fastener has jammed in the fas-
tener guide.
Action to be taken
▶ Use a suitable type of fastener.
▶ Consider using a DX fastening
tool.
▶ Release the nail pusher and
guide it forward as far as it will
go.
▶ Load the magazine. → page 20
▶ Check the nail strip and, if
damaged, use a new one.
▶ Clean the magazine and the
fastener guide.
▶ Change the battery.
▶ Check the status of the gas can.

▶ Keep the tool pressed against
the surface for longer.
