Lifting and Placement of the Instrument

Lift the instrument by means of the purpose-designed handle and place it on a level
surface. Allow sufficient space underneath the instrument to enable easy removal of
the drawer.
Hot Surface
The air circulation around the lamp cooling flange must not be
inhibited. Leave uncovered with sufficient space for air
circulation at all times.

Power Supply

Caution
Infratec Sofia is to be connected to either 12 V DC (and NOT 24 V
DC) via Foss P/N 60024388, or to 100-240 V AC via a power adaptor
Foss P/N 60024086 (otherwise the CE-labelling of the instrument
can not be provided). Power adaptor may only be connected to
power outlet with protective earthing.
