Connecting and Setting up the Product

Connect the footswitch plug into the footswitch socket on the
back of the unit.
Set up the footswitch on a level floor where it cannot tip over.
The cable must not be suspended above the floor (danger of tip-
ping) but laid along the floor.

Conducting a Performance Test

Before each use, check/verify that the footswitch functions
properly.

Footswitch Pedals and their Function

Footswitch 20188-350:
• Blue pedal: activates coagulation
• Black ReMode button: activates the switch between up to
6 setting options in a program
Footswitch 20189-350, 20189-351, 20189-352, 20189-353:
• Yellow pedal: activates cutting
• Blue pedal: activates coagulation
• Black ReMode button: activates the switch between up to
6 setting options in a program
