Changing the top brush - Solamat 100/200
Interrupt the power supply by disconnecting the mains plug.

Detach the front panel by releasing the 11 hexagon socket

screws (width across flats 3 mm).
Release the hexagon socket screw (width across flats 3 mm)

at the brush flange. Draw the brush off the shaft to the right
(see Fig. 12).
Slide the new brush onto the shaft and fix the brush flange to

the shaft using the hexagon socket screw. When doing so ensure
the correct position of the stud bolt in the intended shaft recess.
Reinstall the front panel.

Filter change - SOLAMAT 200
It is only possible for the extraction system to run at full capacity
with clean filter mats! The frequency of filter changes depends of
the field of application.
Interrupt the power supply by disconnecting the mains plug.

Lever off the grating on the back of the housing using a flat

object such as a slotted screwdriver (see Fig 13).
Replace the soiled filter mat with a new filter mat
3.
(Art. no. 18-950).
Insert the grating once more with a new filter mat.

Interrupt the power supply by disconnecting the mains plug.

Remove the dirt drawer.
2.
Turn the machine upside down and place it on a suitable work

surface such that it is lying on the top of the housing with the
underside is freely accessible.
Remove damaged or worn round belts.

Caution - risk of crushing when tensioning
the round belt on the belt pulley!
First lay round belt no. 1 on belt pulley 1a. Then lever onto belt

pulley 1b using a suitable tool (e.g. screwdriver). When doing so
observe the direction of rotation of the belt pulley (see Fig. 14).
Lay round belt no. 2 on belt pulley 2a, b, c, d and lever onto belt
6.
pulley 2e (see Fig. 15).
First lay round belt no. 3 on belt pulley 3a. Then lever onto belt
7.
pulley 3b using a suitable tool (e.g. screwdriver) (see Fig. 16).
Set the machine back in its upright position and slide the dirt
8.
drawer back in.
