Before First Use

Remove any packaging material and literature from the electric steamer.
Wash all the removable parts in warm soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly.
Wipe the inside of the water reservoir before using the electric steamer for the
first time. Place on a level, stable surface. Do not place the product on any
unstable surface or where it might fall or could accidentally make contact with
water or any other liquid.

Operating Instructions

1. Place the drip tray on top of the steamer base.
2. Fill the basket or baskets with the food you want to steam, and position them
on the base. (Please refer to the next section in this manual for instruction on
how to use one, two or three baskets at the same time.)
3. Fill the water tank with fresh water through the water spout, making sure that
the water level stays between the minimum and the maximum markers on
the water level window. It is recommended that you fill the water tank to the
maximum level if your cooking time will be longer than 10 minutes.
4. Plug the unit into a regular household outlet. Press the ON/OFF button. The
Steamer will emit an acoustic signal and the numbers "0:00" will appear on
the LCD display.
5. Press the "SET" button. The default cooking time of 20 minutes (indicated by
the number "00:20") will appear on the LCD display and the word "Steamer"
will blink. You can decrease or increase this cooking time by pressing the
HOUR and MINUTE buttons.
If you press the MINUTE button once, it will increase the time by 1 minute.
If you press and hold, the minutes will increase fast up to 59, and then start
from 0. The maximum cooking time is 1 hour.
Tip: if you want to set a cooking time that is shorter than 20 minutes, the
fastest way of doing so is by pressing the HOUR button twice, which will take
the time down to 0:00, and then pressing the MINUTE button until the desired
number of minutes is reached.
Once the correct time is set, do not press any other buttons for the next
5 seconds, the word "Steamer" will stop blinking, and the Steamer will
automatically begin to generate steam. You should see steam coming out
of the base in a few seconds, and the timer will start counting down the
programmed minutes. The light on the ON/OFF button will turn red, to indicate
that the unit is operating. If you do not wish to use the delay-start feature, go
to step 6.
