1. Raise the bed height to the full up position.
2. Lower the Fowler and gatch sections to the full down positions.
3. Unzip the cover. The zipper starts in the middle of the patient right side of the support surface.
4. Remove and save the top cover.
5. Starting at the foot end, roll up the fire barrier on the foam crib assembly.
6. Remove and save the fire barrier.
7. Remove and discard the spacer fabric per hospital protocol.
8. Place the supplied spacer fabric on the foam core. Pull the fitted ends over the corners of the foam core corners.
9. Replace the fire barrier. Slide the fire barrier down the foam crib assembly, work from side to side and make sure the fire
barrier is tight on the foam crib assembly.
10. Replace the top cover. Align the top cover with the foam crib assembly.
11. Zip the cover to close. The zipper starts in the middle of the patient right side of the support surface.
12. Verify proper operation before you return the product to service.
