Fault
Possible cause
Base exchanger
No power supply
is not regenerat-
ing
Hardness sensor defective
Water remains
No salt in the salt tank
hard after regen-
eration
Injector filter is blocked
Water flow to the salt tank is inadequate
Rising pipe is leaky
too high salt con-
too much water in the water tank
sumption
wrong salt quantity setting
Pressure loss
Deposits in water inlet
Deposits in base exchanger
Too much water
Rinsing aperture is blocked
in the salt tank
Injector is blocked
Foreign particles in the solenoid valve
Power failure while filling brine
Brine is not get-
Water inlet pressure is too low
ting sucked in
Rinsing aperture is blocked
Injector is blocked
Leak inside the valve
There is always
Valve does not execute the correct cycles
water in the
drainage, even
Foreign particle in the valve
after regenera-
tion
Interruptions in water preparation
Remedy
Check power supply (fuse, plug, switch).
Check hardness sensor, replace if required
Fill up salt, do not allow the salt level to fall below
the water level.
Clean the filter
Check the brine filling duration; clean the brine fill-
ing aperture, if required.
Check rising pipe, pilot pipe
see below
Check salt consumption and salt settings
Clean the filter
Clean valve and resin board
Clean rinsing aperture
Clean injector and filter
Clean the solenoid valve, change the valve seat
Check power source
Increase water pressure to at least 0.3 MPa (3
bar).
Clean rinsing aperture
Clean injector and filter
Replace valve flaps
Check timer programme; replace the valve con-
trols, if required
Remove the valve control, take out the foreign
particle, check valve in all the positions
