TROUBLESHOOTING
When troubleshooting, always observe the color of the charger's
LED:

LED Color
No LED indication
Single green blink
Blinking red
Steady red
Blinking orange
Steady green
No LED Indication?
1. When radio with fully charged battery is docked, the charger
will not display radio docking status. Press On/Off button on
radio to check its charging status.
2. Check that the radio with battery, or the battery alone, is
inserted correctly (refer to step 3 on page 4 for charging the
radio with battery, or step 4 on page 6 for charging the battery
alone).
3. Make sure that the power cord is securely plugged into the
charger and an appropriate AC outlet, and that there is power
to the outlet.
Blinking Red LED Indicator?
1. Remove the battery from the charger, and:
a. Verify that the battery is a Motorola Solutions-authorized
battery listed in Table 1. Other batteries may not charge.
Battery Charging Status
Battery is inserted incorrectly.
Successful charger power-up / Successful radio
docked.
Battery is unchargeable or not making proper
contact.
Battery is in rapid-charge mode.
Battery is in charger, not in rapid-charge mode but
waiting to be charged.The battery temperature
may be below
5 °C (41 °F) or above 40 °C (104 °F).
Battery is fully charged.
