CONTROLS AND COMMISSIONING
Check the following before starting the unit:
— Anchorage of the unit to the ceiling or the wall.
— Connection of the hydraulic circuit and the draining condensation circuit.
— Connection and continuity of the earth cable.
— Tightness of all electric clamps.
COMMISIONING
The machine is running when the power is turned on the various consents are
closed.
Whenever the machine is started up, the fan is the first component that starts, after
a set delay, followed by the compressor (only in summer dehumidification mode,
while it is always off in winter forced air heater mode). Here below are the essential
checks upon the first start-up of the machine:
Functioning without water
If there is no water flow rate, the dehumidification mode is available for the DMH
- DMV version, provided that the intake air temperature does not exceed the limit
pre-set by the manufacturer. However, the dehumidifying performance is the ma-
chine will be lower, with a reduction of more than 40%.

ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
RECOMMENDATIONS
Before undertaking any maintenance operation, make sure that the
machine is not and cannot be casually or accidentally be powered
electrically. It is therefore necessary to remove the electric power
supply every time maintenance is performed.
The customer must carry out maintenance on the dehumidifier.
— Only authorised, previously trained and qualified staff can perform the mainte-
nance operations.
— If the unit must be disassembled, protect the hands using work gloves
MONTHLY CHECKS
Clean the drawn air filter with a variable frequency according to the room where
the machine operates.
The filter can be removed from the front (vertical version) or from any of the sides
(horizontal versions) by removing the relative filter locks (Fig. 14); in the case of a re-
cessed unit with a grid, remove the front cover grid beforehand by releasing it from
the lower magnet and then raising it slightly to release it from the locking bushes.
Once cleaned, repeat the operations in the reverse order. Use a suction device to
clean or wash with common detergent in warm water, leaving to dry well. Always
remember to re-mount the filters before re-starting the unit.
Replace the filter with a new one after max 3 cleaning cycles.

DISPOSAL
This product must not be disposed of as unsorted municipal waste, it must
be collected separately in accordance with local laws and regulations.
Contact local authorities for information on disposal options. When purchasing a
new piece of equipment, equivalent to the one to be disposed of.
Here are the materials forming the dehumidifiers:
— Plastic components;
— Electronic components;
— Single and double insulation wires;
— Polymer foam materials;
— Steel, copper and aluminium.

1. Check the watertightness of the hydraulic circuit and ensure there are no leaks
from the machine
2. Based on the pressure drops of the ducts, select the best-suited fan speed for
the flow rate required to ensure the correct functioning of the machine (mini-
mum flow rate allowed: 10% lower than the nominal one)
3. Ensure the flow rate of the cooling water is not lower than the nominal one
according to the model
4. Ensure the inlet temperature of the cooling water is not above 21°C
If the water flow rate cannot be measured, a calibration can be carried out as fol-
lows:
— Fully open the chilled water circulation;
— Start the dehumidifier and wait 15 minutes;
— If you are within the operating limits, cooled air will come out of the equipment.
One can raise the air temperature by slowly reducing the cooled water flow rate
up to the desired conditions.
Functioning without water flow rate is not permitted for the DMH-C
and DMH-I versions.
ATTENTION: Do not let cooled water circulate in the machine when it is
idle for long periods of time, as condensation might form on the external
surface of the machine.
