26. With Connector L (1) removed from the TIPM, locate
the white/yellow wire (2) in cavity 5.
27. Perform the following splicing procedure on the white/
yellow wire (2).
28. Measure approximately 4 inches from the pin of the
white/yellow wire and mark accordingly for splice lo
cation and cut the wire.
29. Prepare to crimp/splice the white rear fog lamp relay
wire to the white/yellow wire of the front fog lamp
driver circuit as follows:
a. Remove 13 mm (0.5 in.) of insulation from each
wire that needs to be spliced.
b. Place a piece of adhesive lined heat shrink tubing
(2) on one side of the wire. Make sure the tubing
will be long enough to cover and seal the entire
repair area.
c. Place the strands of wire overlapping each other
inside of the splice clip (1).
