5. Install the Threshold
On the bottom side of the threshold (the side with two grooves), apply silicone sealant into one of
the grooves.
Position the threshold with the sealant filled groove facing the front of the shower and insert the
threshold ends into the expander jambs.
6. Locate the Header (Steam Door Only)
If installing a steam door, insert the header expander into the header.
Apply a bead of silicone sealant to the top of the header expander.
With the Kohler logo facing out, place the header assembly between the expander jambs.
Tape the header assembly tight to the ceiling.

Apply sealant to one of the
grooves in the threshold.
