Using the display

The display is activated automatically when you shift into reverse gear with the
ignition on or the engine running.
As soon as an obstacle comes into range, the display shows the approximate
distance to the obstacle in metres and also indicates which zone the obstacle is in.
Be very careful the first time you use the system, until you are familiar with the
distances.

NOTICE!
Stop the vehicle immediately and investigate the situation (getting out if
necessary), if the following happens while you are manoeuvring:
When manoeuvring, the device first indicates an obstacle. The display
suddenly shows zone 4 or the obstacle is no longer displayed.
This means that the original obstacle is in the blind spot of the sensors
(construction-related characteristic), and it is possible to hit it.
Deactivate display and audible signals
➤ Press the right button briefly.
✓ The display and audible signals are deactivated until you press this button again.
Obstacles in the detection range will no longer be displayed.
Deactivating audible signals
➤ Press the left button briefly.
✓ The audible signals are deactivated until you engage the reverse gear again.
Obstacles in the detection range are only indicated on the display.
